I presume this will use the same master as the German release? I hope so as I've only recently bought it!

Excellent news. Although I wish Kino would do a nice digibook like the German version, but I doubt that will be happening. Still glad to see them pick this title up.

I haven't watched it yet, but judging from IMDB and RT scores, seems like a good flick. It also has pretty solid cult following. Verhoeven & Hauer....I'll give it a shot, for sure.

Yep, that's the one! Very nice cover art too! A shame the book text is in German, or I would've imported it, no doubt about it.
I'm still debating it, of course a nice price drop would probably do the trick.

Edit: I was going to mention the steelbook, but Akijama beat me to it!

I like this movie quite a bit. It moved along in unexpected ways. Though I would hesitate to call it great or anything. Kino's coming up with some great MGM titles recently. Better them than Twilight Time, that's for sure.

Will pick this up as I didn't want the region B version
The kid in this went to my secondary school,he brought in photos from the set when he got back from filming,he got into the last five of the Empire of the Sun auditions too.
US folks may know him as the voice of the Geicko a few years ago and UK folks may know him as Max Branning in Eastenders now

Awesome!This is one of the handful of films that will make the triple jump in my collection (laserdisc-dvd-BD) although only recently I found the rare dvd.
