Default Being "Thankful" on Thanksgiving - How Too

Many here commented to me how positive I am in light of many difficult and tragic experiences I gone through, the death of both my parents, the death of my wife, gunshot wounds from Viet Nam, major open heart surgery, and the such. Just to name a few. How can I be positive throughout all that and now I live amongst wars and rumors of wars, gas prices out of this world, crime rate rising everywhere, adults, as well as children, disrespectful of others, violent behaviors, violent actions, God being mocked, no understanding of our founding fathers 'intent' for this country, from the Mayflower Compact forward (Timely for Thansgiving!). Want me to go on?

Well I'm positive, because I'm Thankful ! . . . . For what ?

a. For not being in the auto accident I just passed coming into work this morning.
b. For opening my eyes this morning, being alive.
c. For my sight and scent as I was making my breakfast this morning.
d. For not having a cold or the flu as many are experiencing this day.
e. For being able to drive to work, rather than having to walk.
f. For knowing I'm insured, and safe from loss, in the event of a accident.
g. For having friends who truly care and understand me.
h. For being in a profession I enjoy and love, than going to a job I'd hate.
i. For having glasses that correct my vision so I can see this computer screen. Many do not!
j. For 'a high of 79 degrees and sunny' today in Ocala, FL rather than being subject to mudslides, deluge rains and floods, tornados and hurricanes, and so on.
k. For having both hands in writing this posting. Many do not.
l. For discovering the favor of God towards me, and as a result, I'm now protected by Divine Providence, knowing I don't walk this planet alone.
m. For being able to walk in the evenings (good for my heart) without fear of attack.
n. For the ability to be gracious towards others (unmerited favor) and merciful (withholding what they do deserve) to the undeserving.
o. For the ability to be able to give and show acts of benevolence to others less fortunite from the storehouse of my abundance.
p. For the gift of knowledge and wisdom, and wise counsel that I've received from others and given out to others, for 'their' benefit.

Yes, I could go on and on and on for that which I'm Thankful for. So tonight and tomorrow pause to examine just what you 'should' be thankful for . . . then "Give Thanks!". It's that easy !!!

Default Continuation - of Thanksgiving . . .

More specific to us here on the Blu-Ray Forum. What I'm Thankful for:

a. For having the funds to purchase High Definition equipment and movies.
b. For evolving technology, that gets better and better all the time.
c. For patience as bugs are worked out by manufacturers and studios.
d. For selecting the better of the two competing formats - Blu-Ray.
e. For Forum Members here who enlighten with facts, not conjecture.
f. For the competition, keeping our preferred technology, feature laden and
price sensative.
g. For being in a position that can consult and influence the purchasing
decision of others.
h. For being in a position that every High Definition DVD player I demo is on
a Blu-Ray player (BDP-2000ES) through a Sony 1080p Projector.
i. For having confidence in the Blu-Ray Disc Association, that the
consortium of Members 'knows what they're doing' and will yield the win
over the competition, establishing the new standard, for High Definition:
Blu-Ray and regular DVD's.
j. For 'all' those who make the realizitation and experience of this HD
entertainment possible. To all them: Thank You !!! [Jim]
