ABKCO is finally release Alejandro Jodorowsky's long-awaited latest project on home video this August.

Well, according to the Amazon listing page, pre-order here. [The date could change as of this writing]

I'm not sure what to expect from this autobiographical piece, but if it's anything like his earlier works, I'm in for a trip.

I'm quite curious about this.
I would like a Blu-ray release of Fando Y Lis too.
August 25th is a Monday so more likely Amazon meant the 26th.

Sadly, I missed this when it played where I live. But, it is good to know that it will be released on blu. Not sure if I want to buy it but will certainly rent it. This one sort of just sneaked in. Not much fan-fare it seems. It should have received a lot more attention considering the absence and return of the director. Or, perhaps it was just to close to the release time of Jodorowsky`s Dune?

I have an "art house" cinema nearby that is great about picking up the best stuff, and when they didn't get this in I had to email them only to find out they had no idea it existed! Needless to say, I'm anticipating this blu ray having missed out on the film in cinema. It seems you are correct in that there was no fan fare or promotion for it which is sad considering how prominent a figure Jodorowsky should be in any cinema.

This is a beautiful movie. I think it's accessible even for people unfamiliar with Jodorowsky.

There's an insert in the Dance of Reality Blu-ray that says Fando Y Lis is coming to BD Fall of 2014.

Can you post a photo? I am going to get this soon but I'm very curious. Is it a standalone release or are they going to do a box set cuz I just bought all his movies

I don't have it with me but looks to be a standalone. The insert has promos for the rest of his films and mentions the Fando Y Lis on BD at the slower bottom of it.
