The purchase link was available in the original post from the very beginning. The image was hotlinked to the database listing, which takes you directly to the pre-order link.

Not a problem. The site database is, however, very useful (especially for Japanese releases) in terms of understanding what is being sold. Simply jumping straight to Amazon can be confusing for the unaware.

I remember the first time I tried to order something from Amazon.jp.
