The thought of Bebop and Rocksteady finally on the big screen really makes me excited. I've been waiting for that day ever since the disappointment of Tokka and Rahzar.

If only Bay was directing. The first one felt by Liebesman was like Bay lite.

I don't mind Liebesman especially after seeing the mountain scene. That's one of my favorite action scenes in some time.

Indeed. And hopefully the sequel will be better than this one.

But I am almost expecting a bigger trainwreck... ala Transformers 2 compared to the first.

It's a shame the other action scenes in the fim were mediocre in comparison.

Transformers 2 made me expect it. Hopefully Bebop and Rocksteady won't be Skids and Mudflap.

Bay is aware of the Transformers 2 mistakes. I don't think they'll let it happen again with this.

Besides, despite the first film doing well, there obviously was a lot of criticisms, so maybe they'll listen.

I hope this one is a little longer and the pacing more slow. I want more scenes in the sewer.

That's definitely one of the biggest problems with the first one.

The Turtles themselves are supporting characters in an April O'Neil movie.

The movie just races along from one action scene to the next and we get very little character development or focus on the actual Turtles themselves as characters. Or their relationship as Brothers or with Splinter.

So I have to agree. Slowing things down now that the Origins are out of the way is sorely needed.

Let's get some time to know the characters and their family dynamic instead of almost ignoring them.

Raphael is the only one to get any real focus in the first one. And that's because he's on his own after the others get captured. He finally starts to function as a full blown character. And then the movie is over.
