I'm just wondering about this i live in the UK but have an US iTunes account cause there stuff is so much better, especially the TV Shows and i was wondering is there people that gift TV Shows & Movies? Instead of paying out like $20 for a $15 iTunes Card.

The problem with gifting is it requires a US citizen with an iTunes account to do it. Like buying electronic iTunes vouchers from Apple, a credit card is needed to gift the item. So even if I have US store credit, I cannot gift anything, because that would require a US credit card.
However, if you know someone in the US who's happy to gift you what you want as long as you pay them, you may be able to do this. An alternative is to keep an eye on ebay - from time to time, especially around the 'back to school' time or Christmas, there are various US iTunes cards that pop up due to being received by UK people who find they can't use them. These often go for under face value, and sometimes well below it. A $25 card went for £3.60 a few weeks back! Make sure you check the pictures and ensure you're buying US iTunes vouchers and not Canadian or Australian (unless you want those), since all three use the dollar sign. The Canadian ones are usually given away by the inclusion of French text on them. |
