I saw that. Was going to post it but dont know how to. Does not seam that China's largest studio feels like supporting the new hd vmd or what ever it is.

That's cool, I didn't know they were China's largest studio, good news for BD.

Asian cinema powerhouse Tai Seng is shifting its next-gen support into high-gear this January, with the Blu-ray-exclusive bow of the Hong Kong blockbuster 'Initial D.'

Long one of the biggest domestic distributors of Asian cinema on DVD, Tai Seng has chosen Blu-ray as its next-gen format of choice, and will launch 'Initial D' on January 22, 2008.

Thats some of the info on the site.

I am not sure myself but I do know that they have the rights to alot of movies from asian cinema.

The one I would love to get my hand on is a Bullet in the Head one of John Woo's oldest and best. I think this company have the rights to it.

Unlikely there is anything I would ever pick up from them, but it's always good to have another company jump on the Blu ray bandwagon.

It blows a lot, the driving scenes are decent. Jay Chou plays Tak, if you don't know who he is he is a big time pop star in China. I got excited when I saw this news then I saw that it was the live action movie, the anime coming to hd would have been awesome especially Project D.

That's too bad... Ah well, I might see the movie just to say I've seen it. I agree on the anime, I would definitely buy it if it came to HD.
