I just got a double feature from Lionsgate of "Day The World Ended" & "She Creature" and DTWE looks dreadful its letterbox inside a 4:3 ratio frame and is non-anamorphic, not to mention the quality is rock bottom with about every type of video defect possible.
Long ago I had given my father a DVD-R copy and it was region B I believe and it was good and full frame 4:3 but still not what I would consider decent. My question is are there any copies of this film in Europe that are close to being very good to excellent in video & audio quality.. or is this just a long forgotten bastard step-child? I really enjoy the atmosphere of this film and the acting is above board.. thanks for any comments that can lead me to a better copy and out of region does not deter me. |
