Just saw this on Amazon, no pre-order yet. About halfway down the page in the product description it says it's a steelbook.

What makes you say that? There are 2 others listed with the same Steelbook description (Empire of the Sun, and Training Day). Doesn't seem like just some random erroneous description in a pre-order listing to me.

Because it's not going to be the director's cut. As you've mentioned, there's a wave of Warner titles down for the same date. It's a simple repackaging.

Pretty interesting line of steelbooks. Leathal Weapon is the only one I, currently, own...so these could be pretty appealing, if priced right.

There's also a listing for Enter the Dragon coming out the same day, but it currently has no mention of being a Steelbook like the others, so we'll have to wait and see.

While it isn't a directors cut it didn't stop them releasing this DVD as the Directors cut.

Well one of three scenarios is going to happen:

1) It's a Zavvi exclusive and not available on AmazonUK
2) It's not a Zavvi exclusive and available on AmazonUK
3) There are two different steelbooks

Or more like amazon listed it by mistake whilst Zavvi were securing the rights
We've had this before, they will be zavvi exclusives, there wont be 2
