Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue 3D Blu-ray (2014) [Region Free] [India/Mexico/Brazil only]

Moderator note:
Planes: Fire & Rescue was only released on 3D Blu-ray in India, México and Brazil. All other releases worldwide are 2D only.

Planes: Fire & Rescue 3D Blu-ray
Planes / Planes: Fire & Rescue 3D Blu-ray
Cars / Cars 2 / Planes / Planes: Fire & Rescue 3D Blu-ray

Planes: Fire & Rescue 3D Blu-ray
Planes: Fire & Rescue 3D Blu-ray
Planes: Fire & Rescue 3D Blu-ray 1-disc

Original post:
It seems Disney once again drops the 3D animation Blu-ray release for the Planes: Fire & Rescue (at least in US). The only 3D version is
[Show spoiler]the BestBuy exclusive 3D Slipcover only
. I think I need the real 3D movie presentation rather than the slipcover only!

Just to add to this, there is currently no listing on Amazon UK for a 3D release either. So it looks like the UK may not get it in 3D also.

Thought I read that at least ONE region 3D blu was coming....

Had a feeling this was going to happen (Disney starting to region lock their discs.) Too early yet to confirm....we 'll have to see what happens after Big Hero 6 gets a home release.

Sacrebleu, lets hope Disney doesn't find out, they might shelve it.

I believe this is the site that also listed a Robocop 3D Blu-ray for pre-order a while back, so there is a good chance the listing is in error (I hope not!).

This is available in India, less expensive too from here:

http://www.rhythmhouse.in/Detail.asp...Listing=122148

They ship international too. One plus is that the packaging is in English! Doesn't look like it has a slipcover, though.

Too bad they aren't taking preorders for Big Hero 6 3D.

The Blu-ray 3D Double feature set of both Planes 3D & Planes: Fire & Rescue 3D are pictured with a slipcover and designated region free!

Wow, thats a nice double feature set! ^^
Didn't see that on their site.

How does this rhythmhouse site work exactly?

Put a bunch of stuff in cart .... and then, nothing
Do you need to create an account in order to do anything beyond putting in cart?
When you click the "Click here to save" button under the "mini-cart" it asks for a login.

Yes. Fill out a New User Registration form. FYI: Helpful hint for entering correct USA phone #'s: (To call the U.S. from India you have to dial 00 + 1 + City Area Code + Number).

Orders submitted will receive an email with details for secure payment options and a list of carrier options and shipping charges. You then reply with your choices which include a Grand Total (USD-$) per the days exchange rate. They will send you an e-mail with a secure link address from the choices you make for payment. It took up to 24hrs to complete the process for me because of India business time-zone differences. Received most of my e-mails around midnight PST.

That's a pretty good value. I didn't realize this package was the 3D discs

Do Disney India releases normally look like that with that banner across the top? This looks like a bootleg to me.

Do you know if any special features are included or is it just the 3D movie? Thanks.
