One of my favorite flicks, but yet again, I think the Japanese digibook and the lenticular slip on the 3D amaray will be enough for me.

[Show spoiler]Wait a minute, these Fox releases all have the same release date, they must be part of the same wave. Why are we getting separate threads?

Wait, it's still the same UHE transfer so this is an easy pass. They can polish up the presentation all they want but inside the case, it's still a turd.

I don't even have it but since I already have all the Predator, Alien and AVP movies in slipcases I am skipping the steelbooks.

Looks nice beside the 3D text on spine and art. It might be worth it. However, I still am not sure about the quality of the 3D presentation... knowing it comes from the heavily DNR'ed Hunter edition and not the better, earlier 2D release.

What I really would love is a 4K restoration of the original elements with no DNR added. Having said that, as a 3D fan, I have been curious about this transfer and if the 3D is any good. But it sounds lukewarm to me...

I thought the 3D was amazing, if you're a fan of 3D you should definitely check it out.

I thought the 3D was pretty good as well and I am not a fan of conversions.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting much and it ended up really impressing me, more than most films shot in 3 D have actually.

Cool, thanks. I'll be in front of the computer all day studying for an oncology exam so I'll just keep an eye on it.
