Well just got my PS3 and want to get a good headset for it pretty much anything under 70-80 bucks be good. Ive read the bluetooth devices drop alot though and most are going with usb sets. Just wondering if this is true or is there a good bluetooth one out there
headset or jabra bt5010 im looking into that one since it is 2.0 and has good reviews. Thanks Brian Last edited by Sorbert; 11-27-2007 at 05:18 PM. |

A patch fixed the problem several months ago. I got the motorola thats displayed with the PS3 accessories and the one that came with Warhawk. Both works good NOW. The warhawk (Jabra) one hurts my ear after awhile. Yea, i cant spell, im from Arkansas. Lucky i got the computer turned on.

I hear that the SOCOM head set for the PS2 works good. I have not tried them.

Are there many PS3 games that support the headset for online play?

Other than Warhawk and Resistance, I'm not sure which other game support headset for online play.
But the free one that comes with Warhawk works pretty good. Plus you save yourself a few bucks too. I think. Last edited by Blu-Generation; 11-27-2007 at 11:07 PM. |

The Jabra headset that came with Warhawk works flawlessly but it does hurt the ear. The motorola I have used to work ok but after an update stopped working entirely. I haven't tried it lately to see if they fixed the issue but I would suggest the Jabra for its reliability.

I use the Logitech Headset that is sold at EB Games/Gamestop. I works really well and it even comes with different kind of padding for the ear piece.

The Jabra is GREAT! It lasts about 6-7 hours when I am playing COD4. Once it runs out, I will play 1 game without it and let it charge and I usually get another hour of play time! Its clarity is great compared to the logitech "wired" headset. Plus the Jabra was like $29. BEST BY FAR!

I use the Motorola H700... works great and holds a charge for a long time...I also like that I can charge it off of the USB ports on my PS3!

GRAW 2, Rainbow Six Vegas. Pretty much every online game on the PS3 supports headset. Why wouldn't it?

just a heads up, i purchased a plantronics usb headset, great set of cans for what its worth, and connected it. via audio settings i changed it to reflect the new cans and played some cod4...
unfortunately, the sound didnt go through the headset as i was hoping it would, but the er... 'chat' capability was definitely significant compared to a bluetooth headset. im returning the cans tho. at 80 a pop, i dont think i can keep em. |
