Default Question re: VSX-94TXH Elite

I have a question and please don't rip me if this sounds lazy or stupid. I am waiting on a VSX-94TXH Elite which should be here on Thursday. I currently have a Pioneer 5010FD, PS3, Panny BD30, Xbox 360 and an HD Cable box in one set up. Everything is hooked up HDMI except the 360 (it is an older one without HDMI). I have a ton of reg dvd's (400+) and 94 Blu dvds, so the upconversion of the standard dvd's is still pretty important to me. My question is , if I wanted to get an Oppo 981 for better upconversion can I hook that up through HDMI also on the VSX-94TXH? with all the components I already have? Also would getting the Oppo even be worth it (for someone who has a ton of reg dvd's)? I didn't know if I would have enough room on the receiver to hook up another component or not? Sorry again, I just don't know a lot about hooking all of this stuff up, a freind of mine did it all the first time with the receiver. ( I currently have a VSX-82TXS )
thanks for any info

Why would you get an Oppo if you already have a PS3 and a Panny 30?? Both of those upconvert very well, you don't need an Oppo.

ahhh, I told you it could be a dump question, I didn't even think of using my PS3. I usually use my PS3 for games only and have always had a stand alone in there as well (Sammy 1000, 1400 and now the Panny BD30). I have never played a standard dvd in the PS3, would you say the upconversion is going to be better in the PS3 over the BD30 ?
thanks

I don't have a PS3, but I hear that the upconversion is about as good as it gets. Any other users out there who can comment first hand??

I also have another question, i just bought the VSX-92TXH (which is the model right below the 94), and also bought the Sony BDP-S300, my question is the following:

I know the S300 does not conver DTS-HD, but when i connect it to the Receiver which it does decode all the digital and HD sources, will it work? Will the receiver decode DTS-HD and DOlby HD?

Thanks

Unless I am missing something on that model you cannot even send them bitstream. It does not say on DTS but I would guess it is the same.
