Default Best Christmas Episode of a TV Series

I was just curious as to what people's favorite Christmas themed or set episode of a TV series.

My personal favorites are:
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: "A Very Sunny Christmas"
The Simpsons: "Marge Be Not Proud"
American Dad!: "Rapture's Delight"

I really like the "Smallville" episode titled "Lexmas". Its mostly a riff on "Its A Wonderful Life", where Lex's mother shows him the life he could have if he leaves Lionel behind. The other part of the tale involves Chloe getting Clark to help deliver presents to charity on Christmas Eve...only for him to meet a despairing Santa Claus. The episode has several funny and sad moments, all mixed in at the right time...but the ending is really conflicting.

Chuck Versus Santa Claus

A Die Hard homage episode and it had Reginald VelJohnson reprise his role of LAPD officer Al Powell.

Can't go wrong with the Futurama! Xmas episodes.

The SNL Christmas compilations are pretty funny, as long as you don't over-watch them. I always loved the It's a Wonderful Life alternate ending.

I think a few of my favorite sitcoms - That 70s Show, Titus, 3rd Rock from the Sun - may have had one or two good Christmas episodes.

It's been a while, but I seem to remember there being an episode of Excel Saga that takes place at Christmas time. I was always fond of that one - it's not every day you see an anime Christmas show, especially one so zany and stupid.

I really like the episode of The Twilight Zone called "The Night of the Meek."

The claymation Christmas episode of Community that aired a couple years ago was pretty great too.

I make it a yearly tradition to watch a One Foot in the Grave Xmas special on Christmas Eve. The absolute best are The Wisdom of the Witch, Starbound (funniest climax to anything ever) and the feature-length One Foot in the Algarve.
One of the best comedy series ever.

I think Anime Christmas episodes are common. But I don't remember a Christmas episode for Excel Saga, but I do know that it had a New Year's episode.

Sounds like I need to watch more anime.

I double-checked, and the Excel Saga episode I was thinking of is actually the one right before the New Year's special (entitled "Big City Part II"). It's the detective-style one, but it takes place around Christmas. Maybe it's not as festive as I remember.

I'll be boring and say all the Friends christmas episodes, but mainly 'The One with Phoebe's Dad'.

That 70's Show 'Hyde's Christmas Rager'.

Castle 'Secret Santa'.

I have a soft spot for the last ep of Season 4 of Eureka.

From Wikipedia -

"(This is a holiday special, and takes place outside the main story.) Crashing over Eureka, a wave of color changes the town to animation of multiple styles and cartoonish effects, including Jack's jeep coming alive, Andy being turned into a cartoonish robot, and Jo becoming a princess. All this caused by the Super Photon Generator, a massive holographic matrix meant as Jack's Christmas gift for the kids (with help from Fargo). Meanwhile, Kevin, Zoey, and Jenna opened a gift early called "Holotown", a 'create your own story' book using holograms. It turns out that the gift the kids opened crossed signals with the Super Photon Generator. As the episode goes on, with the main characters aware of the changing animations, the kids add villainous Snow Ninjas to spice up the story. As Jack, Andy, Allison, and Jo make it to the generator, they see Dr. Drummer- a scientist from the last holiday special- trying to fix the generator; but as he is, the snow ninjas join to create a 50 foot snow monster. The kids realize the connection between the generator and their book and give the others a fighting chance with Kevin turning them into Anime to defeat the snow ninja monster. Jack gets Jo close enough to throw a bomb into the monster, blowing it up. As the others fight the Snow Ninja Monster, Allison, Andy, and Dr. Drummer finally repair the generator, returning everyone to normal perspective. At the end of the episode, everyone gets together for a Christmas dinner at the smart house."

The Family Guy christmas episodes. It's funny, nothing bothers Lois until she realizes there are no paper towels, which causes her to go on a crazy frenzy which results in her being shot with a tranquilizer dart

Son of Stimpy from The Ren & Stimpy Show. This was originally called Stimpy's First Fart and was a send up of sentimental Christmas Specials. One of the greatest 22 minutes of TV ever !

"Beavis and Butthead Do Christmas" is certainly a Christmas favorite, featuring "Huh Huh Humbug" and "It's A Miserable Life." The "Letters to Santa Butthead" segments are pretty damn funny too.
