Lightbulb So. What are you ashamed to want on Blu-ray?

That movie that is in your collection facing in so nobody knows you have it, but that watch all the time...and that possibly one day might come out on Blu-Ray.

For me, it would have to be Equilibrium. More people need to see it.

Why would you be ashamed to want Equilibrium on blu ray? That movie is freaking amazing. It would be more amazing in 1080p, but it's still pretty amazing on dvd.

Oof, I get so much hate for that.

"Oh, it has no plot" "oh its a matrix rip off"

Dammit, I don't care. Its an incredible film. Upconverted I was happy, but seeing Christian Bale and that scene with the puppy on Blu...

Transformers, although I know it would be a port and wouldn't live up to its potential.

The only movie I really catch grief about is "Velvet Goldmine". But then again I don't really care bout what people think. And the movie's soundtrack is amazing.

I'm pretty much a shameless hussy, so there's very little that I'd be ashamed to say I'd want in Blu.

Both Bill and Ted's! Brings back my childhood, I was in my teens when they came out, and man, I wish I had that phone booth. Not as cool as the REAL phone booth, but close enough.

Right now I'd say Metalocalypse season one. Kinda old to watch it but it reminds me of the good old days when guitar heroes roamed the earth.

There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed about that movie. It is one of my all time favorites and it is as close to a definite purchase on Blu for me as any movie will ever get.

Not exactly facing in, but "there in case children visit" :

And I know this one is coming:

Ashamed is not the right word, unless it's "proud to be ashamed". But it's not for children. I wouldn't hide it, I'd try to lure everyone into it (Hmm there's no "evil" smiley icon. Mods, please note and correct )

BTW, I was joking about Transformers. I don't care at all if we get it (although we probably will in a year or so).

Man, I think that's even too embarrassing to admit in this thread. You SHOULD be ashamed! :-D

Smile Snakes On a Plane!

In the spirit of this thread, I would have to go with "Snakes On a Plane". That movie had it all: an airplane thriller, action, sex in the bathroom, big a## snakes, and oh yeah, Mr. Cool himself: Sam Jackson! Ha! Can't wait.
