Movie-Only Blu-rays

Alrighty...some of you don't care about Bonus Features and never watch them. Well, this thread is just for you!

1) Some studios release “Movie-Only” Blu-rays. These are typically identical to rental Blu-rays that are provided to companies such as Netflix and Redbox.

2) Most of these are Walmart Exclusives from Fox. Many eventually find their way into Walmart's $7.88 bin.

3) Warner used to release “Movie-Only” Blu-rays with regularity but has now abandoned this practice. Some of Warner's “Movie-Only” Blu-rays have a few Bonus Features.

4) Some of Lionsgate's “Movie-Only” Blu-rays have lossy audio.

5) Most of these have the same video encodes offered by their standard retail counterparts. However, there is one notable exception, Paramount's Super 8.

6) This list does not include Blu-rays that are only available in feature-less editions (for example, Woody Allen's movies).

7) This list does not include barebones Blu-rays that are superseded by subsequent editions (i.e. Avatar, Pain & Gain, etc.).
