I have the region 2 DVD but have yet to watch it yet. Cool it is coming to blu-ray though. Lee Van Cleef is the man!

Saw this on dvd about a year ago and was really disappointed with it. And I'm a big Oates, Cleef fan too.

DeepDiscount just dropped the price of this to $15.99.

With the sale they have going on for a few hours yet the price drops even lower to $13.59.

Plus it has John Davis Chandler, one of my favorite character actors. His scene with Forrest Tucker and the ants steal the whole movie, imho.

The Kino disc is out of print. Does anyone know if the German release is region free? It's listed as Region B, but A & C are untested. It's most likely the same transfer and it readily available.

Most BDs of studio licensed titles are region locked due to contractual reasons. Most of the German companies lock theirs, though some from the likes of Digidreams and Subkultur tend to be region free.

It is the same transfer as the Kino too.

Great cast. Not a great film but still very watchable for that cast.
