Multiplayer: COD4 or WARHAWK? - Blu-ray Forum

if these two games fought to the death which would win for the best online multiplayer experience?

I've played COD4 online a handful of times... truth is, I just feel infinitely more likely to fireup Warhawk when I want to play multiplayer.

Maybe that will change in a while...

I prefer multiplayer shooters with vehicles at the moment, warfare on several levels. Warhawk also has the advantage (if you downloaded it) of being able to launch it no matter what's in the BD-ROM drive.

I like both, I played COD4 for 3 weeks straight after it came out, but I find that multiplayer is just more fun in Warhawk. I like the bigger maps too.

For a quick 10 or 20 minutes COD4 is cool, but if I'm ready to game for the next 3 hrs, its WARHawk. Plus, when the Omega Dawn expansion comes out, GAME OVER

endless hours of online fun with warhawk...amazing replay value...although its scary when I see how many hours i've played in my stats!

IMO COD4 is the best online game I have ever played. I have Warhawk also and have played a total of 10 hours. I am more about shoot someone and they die concept. You do not get that with Warhawk. I will hit someone 30 times and they will turn around and hit me once and im dead! It is very frustrating. COD4 on "hardcore" you hit someone a couple times and they are dead...MUCH more realistic. If your more about a unreal experience go with Warhawk. (just so you know it can be fun,,,,im not trying to bash it) If you are more of a stragety real time fighting the COD4 wins hands down!

Warhawk, OF COURSE! I havent had so much fun with online multiplayer since the original battlefield game (endless hours of wake island)

I prefer more people, more stuff to do, more strategizing with teammates. Overall more fun.

Resistance. After playing over 4,000 rounds, it's became a part of my life that cannot be replaced.

But out of these two, CoD 4 for sure. I think Warhawk is teh ghey, but that's just my opinion.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Unreal Tournament 3. I haven't played Warhawk yet but I do enjoy me some Call Of Duty 4.

interesting. i think i'm good with warhawk then. no need for COD4. thats good news for my wallet... i could play warhawk for the next umpteen years and be totally content.

I haven't bothered with COD4 (although it looks very good), but I'm still having so much fun with Warhawk. Can't wait for the new maps.

Can't really compare the two multiplayers, they're different types. They're both fun in different ways. But if i had to choose, then warhawk just because it's less "serious."

I am looking for realism with the next generation gaming. My vote goes to COD4 hands down. Warhawk is good with having so many players online and a lot happening with different things to do (flying, driving tanks, jeeps) but for realism and what it is probably like in a real firefight, COD4 takes the trophy.

You need strategy and teamwork to be successful in this game and with the eavsdrop perk it only amplifies the work required to win and run with mics. Warhawk is just a free-for-all, in my opinion, and if I never played it again, that would suit me just fine. I have already lost interest in it.

Started playing single player COD4 and its awesome and so beautiful too!
Though I hear it won't take too long to finish the single player, so I guess it's just going to stay a rental instead of using "keep it" on gamefly. The multiplayer is just not my thing. Too much like the singple player without enough substance. If multiplayer was much more story based then I'd be cool with it. Single player without the cool stuff in a multiplayer setting is just not fun to me
