Default The Hunger Games 1 & 2 FREE from Google Play (select Samsung devices only)

The Hunger Games 1 & 2 FREE from Google Play (select Samsung devices only).

From Slickdeals.net -

Quote:
The Hunger Games & Catching Fire FREE for Samsung Galaxy device owners
The Hunger Games Movie Pack Android App (from Lionsgate) allows users of select Galaxy devices to download The Hunger Games and Catching Fire for free via the app. Redeems through Google Play Store.

Valid devices appear to be Galaxy Tab S, Galaxy Note Pro, Galaxy Tab Pro, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4. Note 4 users have also confirmed it worked for them via Twitter but YMMV.

Once the app is installed and opened click on the 2 in a circle (Watch Movies) on the left side and then click on the yellow outlined box with an arrow pointing to the right. Next screen click on the The Hunger Game or Catching Fire and you will be taken to the Google Play Store.

FYI - worked for me on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which was not on the list of approved devices so YMMV.

Out of my 80 something collection of UV digital copies. I only watched one and that was Paranorman probably a month ago.

Although the app installed on my Note 10.1, when I click on the movies it requires them to be purchased (HD version is $19.99). I'm guessing that the app will install on a variety of Samsung devices beyond what is advertised on the Play Store site, but the free movie offer applies only to a smaller subset of devices.

The fine print on the movie app at Google Play says the free offer expired 12/31. Didn't work on my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 either.
