My Short Review: Galapagos

The Movie (4 Stars): This short three part series basically gives the following message: Galapagos is beautiful, there are weird animals here, Darwin came here once, never returned, but got the basis for all his ideas here, look at all these animals, oh yeah...and there are a bunch of people here now too, and they suck.

Picture (4 stars): Suffering from grain at some points, but definitely a beautiful presentation. Definitely a companion to Planet Earth

Audio (3 stars): Simple audio, serves it's purpose, but does not envelope you like you would expect.

Extras?

Overall (4 stars): Anyone who is a fan of the Planet Earth series should ad this to their collection. It's a specific type of nature documentary and therefore an acquired taste. The images are beautiful, the animals are exotic, and the show is very informative.
