Default How "rare" is the Mission Impossible Ultimate Collection boxset?

Obviously on bluray. Just how rare is it? On amazon the cheapest any of the personal sellers are selling it is $125.

I was lucky enough to find ONE copy at my local best buy and snatched up. Cost me 77 bucks after taxes. Just curious how "lucky" i am as compared to how rare this set is.

Also if anyone wanted MI:3 they had one copy left i could grab for someone.

I don't think it is very rare at all. I still have mine sealed, but will open it as soon as I get the urge to watch any of the movies.

It is very rare, vary by local, you can find MI:3 on amazon, if they are still in stock. Depend where you live.

I got M:I ultimate collection from MovieStop after trade in my stuff last month, which was last one. I believe so.

Bought 1 and 3 on BD. Didn't really like 2. They are still in stores but will probably be gone by the end of the month.

It's in stock at amazon.co.uk.

Funny as a few weeks ago it was out of stock. Some must be leaking out of Paramounts warehouse .

It is not a easy find out there. Since they are not being manufactured any longer(for now).

My best buy still has 2 copies left...too expensive for alabamians I guess. lol I wanna get one of the sets, but will be a bit. In all honesty though, I really just want MI:2. I wasn't a fan of the other two. lol I love the John Woo style. :P But, the first one is decent enough with action to make it worth it...third one...maybe maybe not.

I'm in L.A. and the box set is extremely rare to find. Almost as rare as the boxset is the first MI movie which I finally got my hands on last week. Individuals of MI2 and MI3 are still pretty easy to find though.

There was one or two on the shelves of my nearest Best Buy last time I was there. Didn't know it was so hard to find.

Yeah....

I dont think it's that rare at all. There's all this talk about how some Paramount films are become "rare" because you cant order them on Amazon. My local Best Buy had multiple Mission Impossibles. I saw tons of Babel, a couple Shooters, Flags of our Fathers, Disturbia, Norbit. The only Paramount / Dreamworks title I've seen that's noticably missing is (surprisingly enough) Dreamgirls. I dont see that one too often.

But no...I see Mission Impossible all the time. Dont pay that outrageous price. They're out there.

probably....because I'm in the midwest (central USA) and yeah, most people dont even know what Blu Ray is, so they're probably not buying up all of the stock. Which leaves plenty for folks like me.

Why do films seem to be "hard to find" over there in America? I've read the Shooter thread saying the same. Here in the UK you get get the M.I. boxset in our Asda store (owned by Wal Mart) for £32.99. We can still get Shooter too. What other films are difficult to find stateside?

there is quite a lot in UK. In case you americans can't find one.... my local HMV still have several in stock. I am ot buying it as paramount is included in my banned list (they ditched BD). Universal is not.

It was pretty easy to find at our Best Buy last time I looked, and this was a store that had remembered to stop selling "Untouchables" and "Tomb Raider".

Guess Paramount just gave up on the sales, and let them burn themselves out, rather than recall.
(And given MI:2, can't blame them, but 1 is still a classic.)

I am still seeing it on the racks at various retailers. However, "THe Shooter" is nowhere to be seen now.
