Celine Dion's "New Day" Live Vegas Show on Blu-ray has been delayed!!

Fans hoping to spend the holidays with Celine Dion in high-def are going to have to wait for 'A New Day,' as Sony BMG has bumped the planned December Blu-ray release of her live Vegas spectacular til next year.
As originally reported back in October, 'Celine Dion: A New Day... Live in Las Vegas' was first announced for a December 11 Blu-ray release, day-and-date with the standard-def DVD. The release looked to be quite spectacular, with a splashy press release touting a "deluxe high-definition DVD" package featuring a making-of documentary, additional tracks, and even more extensive bonus features

Unfortunately for fans of the multi-octave Canadian songstress, Sony BMG has confirmed earlier retailer reports that although the DVD release of 'A New Day' remains on schedule, the Blu-ray version has been yanked.
However, a studio rep told High-Def Digest that the title has not been permanently cancelled, and that Sony BMG is currently eyeing a new date for Celine's high-def debut "sometime in 2008."

Totally bummed about this. I have been waiting to see her cause my wife is a huge fan. We had tickets and went to Vegas and were going to see the show live, but it was cancelled at the last minute cause She got really really sick and could not perform, we could only get a refund.

I hope she still makes it to the Verizon Center next September
