Seems like a winner if they brought it back for TV.. they wouldn't have to even use the current voice actors for the movie roles, just people who sound similar.

Yes, indeed. It looks good overall. Pepe better be in some episodes though, or I'm going to be pissed. Muppets Tonight wasn't great, but Pepe was awesome and his legend should continue.

I really hate to be a naysayer, but I think this looks awful. After Most Wanted and now this, it's starting to seem like the 2011 movie was a one-off fluke.

I get that they're trying to make it a spoof of mockumentary shows like The Office and Modern Family in the same way that the original show was a play on the variety programs of the time. That's not necessarily a bad idea (aside from being a few years too late), but the original show was an innovative variety show in its own right, sending up the form while also showcasing genuinely creative musical and comedy acts. This looks like a cynical rehash of all the jokes that everyone's already made about the mockumentary form and the Muppets in general.

I hope I'm wrong, but that trailer is not exciting me one bit.

I feel like this is going to be a gimmick that fades VERY fast.

Even with very positive critic and audience reviews, the first modern comeback didn't even hit $90 million at the US Box Office and it was released during the holiday season and featured some pretty huge actors involved.

Let's not even talk about the 2014 follow up which was a gigantic bomb.

Well, I liked Muppets Most Wanted more than The Muppets, personally, so no problems in "diminishing quality" for me.

I think this looks excellent, way better than the revival they tried in the late 90's which was terrible and unfunny. And i liked the two recent films as well

This looks great. I love the Muppets and I love how it's geared slightly more on the "adult" side too. I can't wait! Anyone else?
