True. The movie looks way too much artificial to me. What happened to all those tropical races I saw as a kid??

Personally, I thought it looked awesome. I think people are forgetting that even though it is the Wachowskis, this is a family film.

Movie is too colorful for me, like one of those kids movies rodriguez made. In other words cheezy and lame.

Shame cause it had potential.

I didn't realize this was such a kiddy film until I saw the first inages for it a couple days ago. It should still be fun though. Maybe like Spy Kids but bigger?

I'm just going to have expectations that it will target the 8-15 year old male audience and they will eat it up.

I'll probably just shake my head and reminisce about the good old days as I beat down the rowdy kids at the theater with my cane.

Yeah, I saw the trailer and it looks cool. I hope the movie doesn't turn out to be crappy. Trailer looks fantastic though, I love when Speed's car fliped backwards. Whoa . . .

I liked it because it seem very anime-like such as the side of Speed's head with colors going by fast. I don't see why you guys are complaining it looks like a kids movie because Speed Racer was an anime cartoon. You can't expect someone to make a Speed Racer movie with action, sex, and gore, or else it'll be another John Woo film.

At least the locations in the anime were sort of realistic. Here we have spiral tracks.........thats it.

i have been waiting a long time for this movie to come out and so im going to watch it no matter what especially on blu-ray
