Im so glad I held off on importing Vampires !!

Scream and Scream Again and Count Yorga ( i knew they had them but its so cool to see the announcements of the two films)

I like the heavy red tint from the old DVD. But more important: give us the complete uncut version. The current one is slighty cut.

I have the French import, which was from Warners I think. It looks and sounds great and has the special features from the DVD.

Definitely one of the best post-80's Carpenter flicks (although, sadly, that's not saying very much). I dunno if it's worth spending $35 to have, but nice that it's being released.

Ok, I just checked. It seems like it's a problem like the original pressing of Starship Troopers had of the same scene re-played.

Hell, I've watched the French BD plenty of times since I got it and never noticed it before.

The US DVD was released by Sony, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have this short cut. The DVD being compared here is the Studio Canal release from other countries.

Hated it. In my bottom three Carpenter flicks (not having seen Ghosts of Mars or The Ward): Dark Star, Vampires, Prince of Darkness
