I am looking for a good deal on a PS3 80gb . I was wondering if anyone had seen specials or anything that could help out when i go to buy it this weekend . Thanks

Search for PS3 bundles at Walmart.com.They have some deals but its nothing major to write home about.

Do u currently have an HDTV? if not best buy has a deal if you buy a HDtv over a certain $ you receive $100 dollars off ps3/any blu player.

If you don't mind not having backwards compatibility, I think one of the better deals is the 40GB from Sony Style. If you sign up for their Sony Style card, you get $100 off which would bring the 40GB to $299. You could always upgrade the HD later on if you want more space.

If you are in the market for a HDTV also you could try getting a deal for yourself. It might just be worth asking the shop assistant about what discount you could get if you bought a TV and a PS3. Say to them, 'I'll buy the TV if I can also have a PS3 for $200'. The worst they can do is say no then you just leave the store and try somewhere else.

The best deal I've seen is if you apply for a Sony card and purchase a PS3 with it from the Sony Style website ( or Sony Style store ), you get a $100 credit on the card. This will allow you to get a 40G for $299. There's more info I believe in the Hot Deals Forum.

I know this is no help to you now but...
The best deal I have seen was the "secret" sale wal-mart did the saturday after thanksgiving. Buy a 80gb ps3 and get any 10 blu-rays that are under 30.00 plus you can mail in for the 5 free ones. Avg blu-ray price $20.00 = $300.00 free.

Keep a eye on wal-mart maybe they will do something similar again.
