To along with Jumanji's 20th Anniversary edition, Sony will also be releasing a 10th Anniversary editin for Zathura. No word on what's new.

Great film. I love the combination of CGI and practical effects - the practical effects are very impressive in this film, and it's a fun story with a bit of heart.

The last disc had some pretty nice extras, so I'm wondering if there will be anything special about this release.

Crap, that figures. I finally picked this Blu up for free from Sony Rewards about 6 months ago. Oh well. I guess if this is remastered or has a slew of new extras I'll consider upgrading. Otherwise, pass. But rather than pumping out all these re-released anniversary editions, I'd prefer Sony focused on putting out some of their unreleased catalog titles instead, like Bad Boys 2, Candyman, Charlie's Angels 2, Panic Room, Single White Female, Spanglish, etc...

I actually saw this for the first time recently and really enjoyed it. It was about on par with Jumanji, which I saw in the theater as a kid. Curious to see what this edition adds, if anything, besides a digital copy.
