Any word on which comics this particular DCAU film will be drawing inspiration from?

The only detail revealed is that it will feature Batwoman.

So much awesomeness coming from DC in the next year, between all of these animated movies, JLA: Unlimited on BD, BVS in theaters. It's nerdvana.

Bat woman looks like Medusa from the Inhumans (70s / 80s version).

Interesting. I'm curious if it's going to be an original story or if it's based upon something else.

That said, when looking into this - I was shocked and incredibly pleased they are finally doing The Killing Joke! I just really hope that it has Conroy/Hamill in it - as Hamill has supposedly been "campaigning" for it, I have a feeling it will at least have him.

I hope that in the future they do more comic adaptations, I tend to prefer those - and I think they are great for introducing those stories to folks who would never pick up the comics. I also hope we finally see another Wonder Woman movie - or the previously cancelled/lost in development heck Batgirl or Catwoman films - with Wonder Woman finally getting the big screen treatment. Over time, sales of the original WW DCAUOM has consistently sold. Originally supposedly they abandoned the female driven ones because of it's initial performance, but it is now in the top 1/3 grossing of these films.

Hopefully Lauren Montgomery would return to direct as well because she was really good, but the most she's done for the DCAU recently has just been some storyboards for Jay Oliva.

Can never have enough Batman, but my wallet though . I suppose it's the BvS hype, but I just recently purchased most of the DC animated films and now only need the last two Justice League and two Green Lantern to complete the film collection. Then it is on to the TV shows .

Will need to bring out this bad boy:

So I guess were getting another Batman/Batson film before the next JLA universe movie? I thought it was suppose to go JLA then Batman

I am not counting Gods and Monsters because it's not part of the New 52 animated universe that DC are doing.

Hunh, I'm not sure Damian and Batwoman have ever met in the comics. This'll be interesting.
