Jay & Silent Bob Problems

Has anyone encountered the problem with the new Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back blu-ray disc, where upon the green hour glass icon when loading the menus, the BD-P1000 hangs and never loads the menu? I've restarted the player a few times and nothing seems to work. Any ideas? The build date on the player is 06/2006... Plays every other disc I have perfectly. This is the only Buena Vista release I have tried so far.

I've tried a few more times and now instead of freezing, the player just says "cannot play the disc" and ejects it... I will take this back to BestBuy tomorrow to see if I cannot get a replacement and see what happens... please let me know if anyone else has this problem.

Nope no problem at all. Played fine on mine i say you got bad disk.

I figured out the problem. i had the player in my living room on my 50" and had moved it into my bedroom while I was working on my computer. it appears that the settings had reset to defaults and changed the parental settings to 1(kid) instead of 8(adult) causing the player not to read the disc. Once I changed the disc, it plays fine. I apologize for the trouble and appreciate everyone who responded. I hope this may help anyone else who experiences this problem.

I posted a thread about this in the hardware section.

My copies of "Dinosaur" and "Eight Below" did this as well.
"Dinosaur' gave a "cannot read" once as well.
