Blu-ray Christmas Purchases... - Blu-ray Forum

I was just wondering what everyone was planning on getting after you may receive either some Christmas money, gift cards, or Blu-ray's themselves.

I have asked for Amazon Gift Cards from nearly everyone that is getting me gift cards. I am expecting between $300-$400 in Amazon Gift Cards. Looks like I will be getting some Blu-ray's!

I am planning on getting the following:

1. Harry Potter 1
2. Harry Potter 2
3. Harry Potter 3
4. Harry Potter 4
5. Harry Potter 5
6. Pirates 3
7. Closer
8. Identity
9. Cast Away
10. Ratatouille
11. Resident Evil 1
12. Resident Evil 3
13. Transpoter 1
14. Transporter 2

I was also hoping that Amazon would be doing a BOGO in about a month's time. Hopefully some of these titles will be there to help me get even more.

I doubt they will have a BOGO on the Potter's and Pirates, but hopefully some others on my list.

Between gifts, gift cards and purchases I make myself, by mid Jan the following will be added to my collection:
1) Harry Potter 1-5 (Seperates)
2) Superbad
3) First Blood
4) Oceans 13
5) Rocky
6) Rocky Balboa
7) The Transporter
8) Cars
9) Disturbia
10) Reservoir Dogs
11) War
12) Resident Evil Trilogy

And i wish ID4 was joining that list

So, then you technically plan on getting 16, not 12!

Amazon.com.uk have a buy 3 for 2 deal now which include the Potters. Might not be helpful to some in the US but the Potters are still a good deal as Warners do not region code there BDs.

And for those in the UK, it even includes Pirates 3.

I'll be picking up whatever Harry Potter movies I didn't get as gifts.

Everything else I want in December I have on pre-order. Some money may be put towards some of the awesome January titles though.

lol, ya i guess technically it is 18 BD's in total. Has anyone seen the RE box set? I am hoping that the movies inside are in individual cases

I like the look of those better on the shelf!

I know what you mean. I bought all 4 Die Hard's seperate because I didn't want the uniformity of the look of my Blu-ray's ruined with the boxset.

I think I have a problem.

People, Is there a 12 step program for being to addicted to Blu-ray?

i know this is a little off topic but i saw at target that the spider-man trilogy is only one case and its kind of similar to how they did the Prison Break and Smallville packaging for Blu-Ray so its actually kind of smaller but not as great since its supposed to be 3 different movies
