Pan's Labryinth is set to come out to BD/HD DVD on Dec. 26th. This movie is the only one New Line has EVER announced for HD DVD. New Line's parent is WB. With crazy rumors going all over hollywood about WB choosing a side, what are the odds you guys think we will actually see PL on Dec. 26th or will it get postponed and then reannounced.

It better not is all i'm gonna say!!! I need this movie and it's 7.1.

Not likely, this title will likely make good money for them given how it's right after X-Mas, and there are few other titles to compete with it.

let's please refrain from polls and questions such as this. all they do is promote the spread of FUD. why even try guessing on things we have no idea about.

I hope not. I'm planning on buying it and adding it to my growing collection.

IS IT POSSIBLE? Yes
WHY? Because it is a Hi def version to be released only about 10% of the consumers adopted a format.
WHERE DO I STAND? I hope it doesn't get postponed, I would like to pick it up on BD the day of the release.

I have it on preorder. And I want it, even if it means it comes out concurrently on the other format. It would mean nothing in the long run.

Just hope the transfer is excellent.
