Default Blu-ray Movie list by audio codec - Where?

After trying to search here for a listing of Blu-ray movies by the audio codec's on the disc, I came up with no results. I seem to recall a post though that had such a listing. Anyone know where on the Forum it's located? [Jim]

WBs is about the only one that uses VC-1. Disney did Santa Clause 3 in Vc-1, but at a very high bitrate and PQ.

But sorry there are no codec only lists.

I was thinking about something similar last night. Is there a way the site could do an "A LIST" of movies whereby it gives a special designation to the movies that represent the best the format has to offer? To reach this status a movie would be required to have a lossless track, etc. You're all the experts so I'm sure you could come up with the 5 or 6 criteria that would need to be met in order to get there.

The list would serve as a quick education for those new to the format and perhaps as a quick buy list. Once the criteria were set, depending on the inner workings of this site, it would automatically update any time a new movie meeting the requirements was added to the database.

Just a thought.

LOL. My first post here was in a thread called "What movie do you want to see in Blu?" or something like that. I picked my name here based on my response in that thread. I've always LOVED this movie.
