Superman: The Movie (Special Edition) Vudu?

Does anyone know if there was ever a Digital Copy code for this? There is an option for it on Vudu but you can't purchase nor rent it. I've never seen one.

I was able to get Superman: The Movie (Special Edition) via the D2D Vudu service. At first I tried using the Blu-ray's from the US Superman Blu-ray set but neither the Special Edition or the Theatrical disc worked. Then I remembered I still have the original Blu-ray release bundled with other Warner films. That disc worked for redeeming the movie on Vudu.

Really, the special edition? That version isn't available for D2D, only the theatrical cut is.

I think there have been some movies with redemption links that a code just never materialized for. This could be one of them. Or, it could be one of those random walmart only codes that pop up from time to time. A search of this website's search engine shows no recent releases of the movie. That's what make me suspect it might be a walmart code. They get codes in their cheapie bin that don't appear anywhere else.

I probably stand corrected. It most likely is the theatrical cut which is good news to me as I prefer that version. I did a bunch of movies via D2D but haven't officially purchased them yet.
