Default Blu Art

Anyone have a good source for art on blu? Specifically looking for hi-def Van Gogh. I've tried some searching on Google and such, but can only find aquariums and fireplaces.

Would love to have an art gallery on my HDTV.

I think the only thing close right now is a Japanese import with Art of Disney.

"Hi def" for art is... well.. not the same thing as Hi def video.
All pictures you see on your camera are HD as far as video knows, they only have to be 1920x1080 pixels. Most cameras will do better than that.
If you want print quality, that is different. I work with files that are often 50 MB each, or bigger. I have worked an several files that exceed 1 GB! However it depends on what you want.
If you look up Van Gogh online, you are likely to only find snapshots. But you can usually buy these at museums and other places.

Take a look at this:

just for starters

Expect to pay money for good reproductions. Artists who are still alive do not like to see their work being used without their permission. Artists who have passed on but have an estate usually do not allow anyone access to their work without permission as well.
But artists like Van Gogh and Monet and Picasso are so well known, you can usually find something about them online, but to get good quality images, only the owners of their art will give those out and they usually want to be paid as well.
HD quality is usually not that expensive compared to print quality. A screen displays usually between 72 ppi (ppi=pixels per inch / dpi=dots per inch, same thing but one is on a screen and one is printed) and 96 ppi, but sometimes you can find some as high as 201 ppi. High quality prints start at 300 dpi and can go up to 600 dpi. Larger prints are often made at 150 dpi.

So you can usually find HD (1080) size fairly cheaply (depending on what it is and compared to print quality).

I like InterfaceLIFT.com for some nice art. I've downloaded quite a few scenes to my PS3 and I'll play them in the slideshow along with music.

Granted, I also like to use my own pictures too, but that website has some nice stuff that are beyond my camera's abilities and exotic locations.
