Halloween original not on iTunes? - Blu-ray Forum

I could have swore I saw this movie available to purchase in the past? Did they remove it and why? If you purchased it prior would it remain in the cloud?

I checked a while back and don't recall ever seeing it available on iTunes. I don't think it has even been on Vudu. They both start at Halloween 2.

I did answer my own question about if the movie will still be in the cloud. I bought the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie about a year ago. The movie is not unavailable in the iTunes Store, but the movie is still listed in the cloud for me. Not sure why they pull movies from the store

It was available sometime in the past, because I bought it. Must have been about a year or two ago. It's still available in the cloud.

I also have Terror Train. I think they removed that one from the store too.

I thought I saw it! Should have grabbed it then. It's now scary movie season and iTunes is failing.

It's available now from a company called Trancas International Films. It looks like they're involved in the upcoming "quasi-reboot," so I'd hope they have a decent transfer. Plus, it's only $9.99, so...

It is unfortunate that there are no extras. The transfer is solid, as it is the 35th anniversary transfer. I prefer the more 'fall' coloring of the original film, however, the 35th anniversary, aside from some of the color correction, is the best transfer in my opinion. Too bad they couldn't include the extras along with the film from the actual 35th anniversary release.

yeah I want the extras bad. I saw they add extras sometimes so hopefully we will get them at a later date
