United Kingdom Eldorado AKA Highway To Hell (2012) [No 3D Blu-ray]

I watched this film a while ago in 2D and was wondering if anyone knows if the 3D version ever got a 3D blu ray release anywhere in the world.

Amazon list it as currently unavailable in 3D in either the original Eldorado cut or the half-hour shorter Highway To Hell cut.

I admit that the film itself is so bad that I actually felt embarrassed watching it (it was made as a tax scam apparently, which explains a lot) but it was filmed in real 3D so I'd like to see it that way.

Never heard of it, but looked it up. I thought it'd just be unknowns, but it has a surprisingly extensive cast of presumably down-on-their-luck name actors.

This review makes it sound like it may have crossed over from being merely mundane-bad to trainwreck-bad.

found the link about the tax fraud:

Almost makes me wonder if they actually filmed in 3-D, or just submitted falsified invoices claiming they had to make a bogus tax claim?

Oh, the film is multiple trainwreck bad, no doubt about it. I do have it in 2D, though it's safe to say I will never watch it in that format again. But I'm pretty sure it was actually shot in 3D, at least some of it anyway (I read that David Carradine's scenes were lifted from another film, Kung Fu Killer).

Given the nature of the scam, I'd speculate that one reason they might have gone with 3-D is that it's easier to exaggerate the costs involved.

My question is was it ever available in 3D? It certainly came out on 2D DVD...

really doesn't look like it, does it. Not a single copy used or new on Amazon or ebay. What label put out the dvd? Do they have a website?

Stock was claimed at one point - I had an order on eBay at time of release that was "lost in the post" and then all other copies were reportedly bought up while waiting because it was stopped (hmm), but in fairness the seller did immediately refund me completely!

I mailed the distribution company at the time - House of Fear in the UK - and never got any reply, also tried the Worldwide distributor Fantastic Films International as the silence was piquing my interest but same result...
