Canada how come Blu-rays still come with 3D, DVD and Digital Copies?

In Canada Blu-ray's seem Expensive. $32-$34 before Taxes. I figured if studios would make a single dual layer copy of the movie without those other versions if the movie would be closer to $22-$24 CAD

I am very curious about what others are paying around the world in their own Money. well if your money is similar to dollars. I wouldn't
understand Yen.

How much do you think you personally should pay for a blu-ray movie?

I'm in Canada and I'm wondering where are you buying blu-rays that they cost $32-$34 before tax? If you buy new releases it is usually around $25-$30 before tax max.

I normally buy them from Walmart. but there are some movies I buy through amazon.ca

Walt Disney movies never depreciate I find those 29.99 on DVD yet there is a store on ebay that sells them for 18.99 CAD the place that sells Walt Disney DVDs cheap is from British Columbia. I am in ontario

It was really upsetting to buy a 34 dollar blu-ray which turned out to be a movie I hated and when I took it to a place in like new condition they only wanted to give me 5 dollars or 7 if it was store credit.

That movie was Forgetting Sarah Marshall I still had the cardboard blu-ray case with the $34 sticker on it.

I bought Avengers Age of Ultron 3D for $26.99 last week and thats a Disney title.

In regards to Forgetting Sarah Marshall, that was when the format was pretty new, hence the higher price. I remember a few years back finding the first Planet of the Apes movie for $20 and thinking that was a good deal. But a lot has changed since then, including lower prices.

where do you buy your Movies On BD. do you have more blu-rays with other copies of the movie included than a single only Blu-ray copy of the
movie? do you buy movies right away or wait for the price to drop?

Thank You
