I'd prefer a more substantial confirmation, but if this is true, I will be very happy. It sucks that Trank's effort has stalled this another five years, but at least we'll get the genuine Fantastic Four in the MCU. Fox can keep "X-Men" for all I care; Marvel's done a great job without them so far.

And Fox has done well with the Xmen franchise, so let them keep it. At least until they nob that up like they did F4.

We've already had five "X-Men" films in the last 15 years, plus two "Wolverine" entries, and one more of each on the way. Of those, I've enjoyed most of them so far...but we have yet to get a truly impressive movie based on Marvel's "first family of comics".

Lets keep remaking the Walk while we are at it until one adaptation makes some money as well.

I don't see them doing another F4 standalone film. Best bet is for them to introduce them as a crucial part of an Avengers film or something. The brand is toxic at this point.

I really hope this is true; not so much for the FF themselves, but it should also hand back the rights to the Silver Surfer, Galactus and the Skrulls too

If true, YES! Can't wait for (a proper) Galactus, Silver Surfer, and Doom!

All they would have to do is slap "from the studio that brought you Avengers, Iron Man, etc" in the trailer along with the big Marvel logo.

+1, the bigger news is that Galactus might be doable for the MCU and could be the next big baddie after Thanos. Pretty exciting.

If true, then the fans have succeeded in helping to make this happen.

I highly support Fox with the X-Men, but I never gave a dime towards anything FF-related coming from Fox, because I wanted Marvel to win them back.

IF this is true it makes a tonne of sense. Fox rid themselves of their poison chalice, get to do two TV Shows and Marvel get Dr Doom and Galactus back in time for a post-Thanos, post- Infinity War MCU. Silver Surfer too actually.

I think Marvel badly needed Galactus and Dr. Doom back on their roster, BADLY. The idea of them doing a better Fantastic Four movie excites me also, because for my money they still haven't truly 'missed' with anything yet. Sure Thor: The Dark World and Iron Man 2 are iffy, but certainly not horrendous or un-watchable.

Like I said, IF this is true, and it probably is... I'm a happy camper even though I thoroughly enjoyed the first hour of Trank's studio-raped Fantastic Four!

Pretty sure since details of what was given up to get them back have now come out this is 100% true

After the recent ‘Fantastic Four’ movie took a critical pounding, 20th Century Fox seems to have struck a deal to give the rights back to Marvel in exchange for X-Men TV rights.

“Fox were given the TV rights for X-Men in exchange for Fantastic Four,” Den of Geek exclusively reveals. “The deal’s been in the works for some time, we’re told, and further, the timing of Marvel’s recent announcement of its movie slate leading up to the year 2020 and the X-Men TV series is no coincidence.”

Am I the only person who has absolutely ZERO desire to see an MCU Fantastic Four movie?

steal some of the villains, maybe throw in some references or cameos, but a full movie?

no thanks. We already have an ensemble team, it's called the Avengers, and it's a bagillion times better than the outdated and frankly absurd even by comic book standards Fantastic Four.

If true then hell yes! Suck it, haters! Unlike you, I WILL be looking forward to an MCU Fantastic Four. Galactus would be a perfect follow up villain after Thanos. Plus, all those who want to see good villains in the MCU will finally get Dr. Doom!

Speak for yourself. I've been waiting for an awesome Fantastic Four movie, and unlike what the MCU haters say, I actually trust Marvel Studios to give us one.
