I'd prefer a more substantial confirmation, but if this is true, I will be very happy. It sucks that Trank's effort has stalled this another five years, but at least we'll get the genuine Fantastic Four in the MCU. Fox can keep "X-Men" for all I care; Marvel's done a great job without them so far.

We've already had five "X-Men" films in the last 15 years, plus two "Wolverine" entries, and one more of each on the way. Of those, I've enjoyed most of them so far...but we have yet to get a truly impressive movie based on Marvel's "first family of comics".

PLEASE NO!!!
I thought we would be spared any more horrendous F4 films. PLease please NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE PUBLIC DOES NOT WANT ANOTHER FANTASTIC FOUR MOVIE> WHAT DONT THESE STUDIOS UNDERSTAND? Lets keep remaking the Walk while we are at it until one adaptation makes some money as well. |

I don't see them doing another F4 standalone film. Best bet is for them to introduce them as a crucial part of an Avengers film or something. The brand is toxic at this point.

If true, then the fans have succeeded in helping to make this happen.
I highly support Fox with the X-Men, but I never gave a dime towards anything FF-related coming from Fox, because I wanted Marvel to win them back. |

IF this is true it makes a tonne of sense. Fox rid themselves of their poison chalice, get to do two TV Shows and Marvel get Dr Doom and Galactus back in time for a post-Thanos, post- Infinity War MCU. Silver Surfer too actually.
I think Marvel badly needed Galactus and Dr. Doom back on their roster, BADLY. The idea of them doing a better Fantastic Four movie excites me also, because for my money they still haven't truly 'missed' with anything yet. Sure Thor: The Dark World and Iron Man 2 are iffy, but certainly not horrendous or un-watchable. Like I said, IF this is true, and it probably is... I'm a happy camper even though I thoroughly enjoyed the first hour of Trank's studio-raped Fantastic Four! |

Am I the only person who has absolutely ZERO desire to see an MCU Fantastic Four movie?
steal some of the villains, maybe throw in some references or cameos, but a full movie? no thanks. We already have an ensemble team, it's called the Avengers, and it's a bagillion times better than the outdated and frankly absurd even by comic book standards Fantastic Four. |

If true then hell yes! Suck it, haters! Unlike you, I WILL be looking forward to an MCU Fantastic Four. Galactus would be a perfect follow up villain after Thanos. Plus, all those who want to see good villains in the MCU will finally get Dr. Doom!
