FINALLY! The first Blu-ray THEME / SKIN for PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

There we go my Blu-ray friends!

I've seen many request here from people who really wanted a Blu-ray THEME / SKIN for the Playstation 3!

Since the new update ,wich allows you to enable diferent Themes for your PS3, a friend of mine and myself thought we give it a try, so we created a Blu-ray Theme for the PS3!

The Details:

- We used the PS3 standard icons and colored them BLUE (of course)
- We changed the "Videoicon" into an Blu-ray icon (of course

- You can choose between 3 selfmade FullHD 1080P (1920 x 1080) Blu-ray Wallpapers.

How do I install these? I burned to a CD, but under theme, it doesn't seem to be pulling up its there...

You have to create 2 folders!

1# named "PS3" and into the "PS3" folder you have to create another folder, named: "THEME" ---> then you add the theme file into the "THEME" folder! then it should work

just go to the website on your ps3 and download them

When I hit the link on the web, I get sent to a page full of code.

When I burn the CD ie, PS3>THEME>... It won't recognize anything when I go to install. ?

I tried it both ways too...

When I try using the PS3 to download it, I get the same code thing. But when I try to use my computer to download it, I get "Referer not correct. Please use http://www.blu-rayler.de to get the file."

This sucks, I'd love to have a BD based theme on mine, been wanting one for ages.

I get the same thing. I'd love to get this theme on my PS3, but I can't seem to do it.

Hey,

Flash drives fellas. Every PS3 owner should have a flash drive if you ask me. I got one some time ago and it's hecka handy. I now Dl FW updates from the web and put them on the flash drive and update my FW much faster.

And,.. you can dl themes like this and also move them easily to the PS3. And MP3 and MP4 and Jpeg and whatever,.. it's very simple.

If, you don't have a flash drive but have a PS3 with card slots like my 60Gb (not sure which models have card slots anymore.) You can also likely grab the memory card from one of the digital cameras in your house and use that.

p.s. I would dl the theme but hate walpaper they labeled #3. If it's ripped from Vista that explains it but I find it ugly and would have to re-edit the theme to remove it and it's not worth the trouble.

Yeah, I have a flash drive that decided to take a dump on me. Honestly I don't feel like ponying up for another flash disk just to move a theme.
