Little Busters! And Clannad's Tomoyo After Visual Novels In English

Visual novel publisher Visual Art's announced on Saturday that its Key brand's Tomoyo After〜It's A Wonderful Life〜 and Little Busters! visual novel software will get official English releases. The publisher added that the releases will base their translations on fan translations, "and some parts will be modified and re-translated." As a result, the fan translations will be removed from servers hosting them.

Tomoyo After〜It's a Wonderful Life〜 is a spinoff of the earlier Clannad visual novel, which inspired both anime and manga. Tomoyo After〜It's a Wonderful Life〜 centers on the character Tomoyo, and it itself inspired manga by Yukiko Sumiyoshi. The game was ported to such systems as the PlayStation 3 (pictured right).

The 2007 PC software Little Busters! inspired a television anime that aired in Japan in 2012, followed by the Little Busters! Refrain television anime in 2013 and the Little Busters! EX original video anime project in 2014. Crunchyroll and The Anime Network streamed the two television anime, and Sentai Filmworks released both on home video in North America. The original game received several ports, including one for the PS Vita (pictured left) and PlayStation 3.
