Default Key to Exploding Growth - PS3

The key to explode the growth of Blu-ray titles from now till the end of the year is to post on PS3 Fanboy type sites, specials/deals relating to PS3. Partner with their sites. If you tap into the PS3 fan base you are looking at 4:1 or 6:1 ratios.

I encourage everyone to start 'knocking on doors' to our PS3 neighbors. Power in numbers. This will do much more than me buying 3 copies of 300

Already did my part at work.

One network admin, tech, and one system admin just bought PS3's for...... guess it.. Blu-Ray.

The other two co-workers I know are strongly considering it, one even bought an HDMI receiver to prep months ago while waiting for the format war to end. Unfortunately he bought an iPhone and is now regretting it. He's thinking of returning it for a PS3. The other one is pretty much a done deal. Again, just for BluRay.

Today, I was talking to our marketing guru about new PC's, AMD/Intel, Tech geek stuff as he's a gamer (just built his own system). He then asked if I was aware or heard of Blu-Ray at all, as he was looking into it. Needless to say I believe part of his next paycheck will be a BR player.

There's one HD-DVD guy at my department, one of our tech's. He's a young kid, and influenced to much by Microsoft. His player consists of an Xbox360+drive. He's stopped buying HD-DVD's however, for shall we say, shady reasons.

Another idea is to make sure to post good promotions on slickdeals. I posted the Amazon BOGO two weeks ago and it got a ton of hits, even made the front page

My co-worker got a brand new PS3 for $250. Hmmm... It must've "fallen off a truck".
