I was hoping for something a little more snazzy for the complete collection than what looks to be a boring slip box and (most likely) amaray cases. Maybe the US will make something cool?

I don't own any of these but will pick them up once they are all out, however i want the last one in 3D and i bet the boxset of all of them will only have the 2D version of Mockingjay part 2.

It says 'Artwork TBC' - how can you tell anything about it from that?

Haven't seen any of these yet so will definitely be picking up the complete collection.

Not feeling the hype for this after the snoozefest that was Mockingjay Part 1. Will see it at cinema and make my mind up if i pick this up.

It is possible that the film won't have a 3D blu ray. Its not being shown at all in 3D in the US. Some other films that had a 3D release aren't having a 3D blu ray such as Maze Runner 2.

Maze Runner 2 has a 3D blu ray release in Germany next year, and that is where i will order it from. Mockingjay part 2 WILL get a 3D blu ray release somewhere.

Mockingjay Part 1 had a 3D theatrical release in China, but I'm not aware of a 3D Blu release of it anywhere, even in China, so it's still possible it might not get one.

I thought it was China where it got a 3D rollout?

Anyhoo, I've got the artwork I wished for on the regular edition, that will make for a sweeeeet slipcase.

You're right, I don't know why I wrote Japan. And I did it twice! I'll edit my original post.

Apparently every foreign movie released in China is converted to 3D. Mockingjay part 1 being in 3D in China and not getting a 3D blu is pretty unsurprising.

That said Transcendence was only released in 3D in China yet got a European 3D blu release. Mockingjay part 2 is showing in way more territories in 3D than that did, so there's a strong chance.

Didn't we go over this before? Rogue Nation says no.

I hope the complete collection will include the bonus disc for the first film - it's not included in any of the other box sets so far.

Watched this at the cinema last night (in 2D) and I'm happy to say it ended the series well. I've not read the books so couldn't compare, but I was definitely satisfied with it.

Can I see the latest film, having only seen the first one, and still know what's going on?

I tend toward the classic/arthouse end of the spectrum, so I don't keep up to date with modern releases as much as I should. Caught the first film on the telly the other night, and quite enjoyed it. Thinking of venturing out to the cinema this weekend, but is it worth my while, or do I really need to see parts two and three first?

You wouldn't know what was happening, no. There's a running story throughout, and the latest is the second part of what's a two-part movie. Mockingjay part 1 sets it up following on from Catching Fire, so you'd be best to try and watch through the rest before going.

Fair enough. Back to Naruse it is, then.

Thanks for your advice. Much appreciated.
