Synopsis:

LOL, they kind of do, don't they? I think a better casting choice would have been Clive Owen for at least one of those roles. Perhaps the Cusack one. Maybe even someone like Channing Tatum or Vin Diesel would have worked too.

Holy necro, but no, it isn't. The US version (among others) is missing more than 20 minutes of footage.

The only English friendly, uncut release would be the HK version.

The HK bluray is temporarily out of stock on Yesasia. I don't know when it will go back in stock, if at all. Sometimes, they don't bother updating to Out of Print instead. Neither Neofilmshop or BadPandaShop have it either, both shops I've ordered from before. I checked Ebay, nothing. Yeah, it will be difficult, unless you get the DVD instead, which is available on Yesasia.

Never mind, found a copy on Neofilmshop. I was looking at the 3D version, but the regular, 2D version is still available.

Now mind you, that's $30 for one movie. I ordered from there before, but it takes them two weeks to ship sometimes and then three weeks to get wherever it needs to go, so they are slow. Up to you though, how badly you want to see the original version.

Thank you. But unfortunately the shipping on that site is as much as the movie ($42 CDN). All together it just becomes too much. I'm patient with these things though. One day I shall see the original version of Dragon Blade.

Well, I hope you see it one of these says. I've personally never seen the full uncut version myself, and only knew of it existence after I saw the US version. I never saw fit to track it down either, as I just own the US version. If anyone has seen the full movie, perhaps they can chime in and tell us if we're missing anything in those extra twenty minutes or so.

I've only seen the version on the UK blu-ray which I believe is the international cut.

I was tempted to try and track down the longer versions of this and Chinese Zodiac at some point but I'm no longer fussed as they are movies I won't revisit often.

I thought Dragon Blade was pretty good overall but I can't say I felt the same about Chinese Zodiac..
