Does anyone know what label will release this?
In the past MGM has retained home video distribution for most of their theatrical releases with other studios, but I'm wondering if that's NOT the case with this new WB production deal (HOT PURSUIT was released by Warner on video despite being an MGM/WB co-production). |

I am thinking, its going to be similar to the 007 distribution deal, so probably like this: Warner Bros. (US Theatrical) Warner Bros. (Home Entertainment until a certain date) MGM (Re-issue, Box sets ect) The same thing they did with Sony & Rocky Balboa. ![]() |

Great movie! Definitely one of the year's best, and IMO the best Rocky movie since the original. Stallone was terrific in it! Day one purchase ![]() ![]() |

MGM seems to hold onto films produced entirely in-house (Skyfall, If I Stay) but will sell if it's a co-production (Hope Springs, Hercules, Hot Pursuit, Poltergeist, Max) or if they get a good offer (The Town That Dreaded Sundown, Hot Tub Time Machine 2).
I think this was a co-production (Weinstein was initially going to co-finance but pulled out and Warner Bros. took over) so home video will probably be with Warner Bros. (especially since Warner Bros. and MGM have plans for a separate Creed franchise). Related to MGM, I believe Fox is releasing Spectre on home formats. So it's the son of Apollo.

Really amazed and happy for all involved to see an RT score of 93 (audience 95) and hear such great things about this, very much looking forward to the Blu-ray release which will be my first viewing.
Big goosebumps watching this trailer, I've heard Stallone is absolutely amazing in this and that's not surprising as he really owned the role in the last movie and the last Rambo too was far better than parts 2 and 3 IMO. |

I'm a huge fan of the Rocky series, but wasn't sure what to expect from Creed. I saw it last night and wow, I was blown away. It far exceeded my expectations. I'm hoping there's a bunch of bonus features on the Blu-ray.

Yeah when I saw this in the theatre it made me want to watch my Rocky Blus again. I'm going to wait though and just marathon them all when the blu comes out.
