I was gonna watch this today but the reviews have been pretty mixed. I love X-Mas horror flicks though, so I'll most likely end up buying the blu-ray anyway.

Are you kidding me a pre-order already haha

I would have thought they would save the home video release for X-Mas season 2016

Even if the film was a masterpiece I will only watch it during the Holiday season only. If I purchase it, will be a year from now

i would bet you'll see it around march or april. I've read 'The Night Before" is aiming for valentines day, which is weird, but I also hate waiting, so im ok with it.

IGN.com gave it an 8. I plan to take the wife and see it this weekend.

Another reason to buy it around that time: It'll probably be cheap as hell!

Went to go see this today at the Drafthouse, and enjoyed it quite a bit. If you liked Trick r Treat, there's a strong chance you'll like this as well. The closest things that I can compare it to tone-wise are Trick r Treat and Gremlins. For being PG-13, it does go pretty dark (without being overly gory). Great cast, effects, and soundtrack.

On 1010 wins this morning, the lady said it was a horror comedy?

Has anyone else heard it's a comedy?

That's not the tone the commercial sets al all.

Just got home from the theater watching Krampus. It for sure is a horror comedy. Won't be a day one purchase for me, but will pick up on a sale rack.

Freaking loved this. One of the most entertaining, and beautifully shot horror movies ever. Day 1!

That could be the cover. The other is just a placeholder right now.

I enjoyed it, but it could have been better (and funnier) than it was.

While I did enjoy it, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed considering it's a followup to the great Trick or Treat. Don't get me wrong its good but it could have been great. I actually do think the PG-13 rating ended up hurting the movie a bit.
