Warner Bros. Pictures' and Village Roadshow Pictures' Mad Max: Fury Road also stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Days of Future Past) as Nux; Hugh Keays-Byrne (Mad Max, Sleeping Beauty) as Immortan Joe; and Nathan Jones (Conan the Barbarian) as Rictus Erectus. Collectively known as The Wives, Zoë Kravitz (Divergent) plays Toast; Riley Keough (Magic Mike) is Capable; Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) is Splendid; supermodel Abbey Lee is The Dag; and Courtney Eaton is Fragile. Also featured in the movie are Josh Helman as Slit, Jennifer Hagan as Miss Giddy, and singer/songwriter/performer iOTA as Coma-Doof Warrior.

Miller directed Mad Max: Fury Road from a screenplay he wrote with Brendan McCarthy and Nico Lathouris. Miller also produced the film with longtime producing partner and Oscar nominee Doug Mitchell alongside executive producers P.J. Voeten, Iain Smith, Graham Burke and Bruce Berman.

Mad Max: Fury Road will be available on Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack for $44.95 SRP, and features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc with the feature film in 4K with HDR, a Blu-ray disc with the feature film and special features in HD, and a Digital HD version of the feature film. I've been praying for this movie in hdr. This will be my 1st watch. Probably have some friends over and crank up the surround sound system!

Why not release the original Mad Max movies in UHD instead? They would benefit much more than Fury Road would and you wouldn't have to give up 3D because those movies never had it

Fantastic! Looking forward to this one coming out on UHD. I guess I should probably start slowing down on my BD purchases as 2016 will be the year UHD kicks in full force.

Strange there is no news of Dolby Vision, just "HDR" on these first discs. I think it will be compatible since warner is using vision on VUDU streaming for this title and some others but still strange they wouldn't put it in the official specs.

A family member that I know really likes this movie. It’s too bad that they did not bundle it with the Blu-ray 3-D version. When I upgrade movies I like to have one copy on the shelf. I do not have room to own both the Blu-ray 3-D version and 4K Ultra HD version for every single movie.

Still no release date or pre-orders being accepted for this title yet.

Good thing I haven't bought it yet. Will probably buy all these discs as long there are UHD+blu-ray in them. Good to future proof the collection
