It sounds like this may work well with the "Buy £30 in Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards, Get a free £7 code" promo that some people are eligible for, from Amazon UK right now: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=272972
If you're spending at least that over there (and are eligible), then it's probably worth it to order the gc's and get the free £7. You could possibly also use it directly on this set, although there seems a 24+ hour delay before people are getting the £7 promo code (the gift cards come almost immediately). I think the quality of the series is maintained pretty well throughout, though it's very much worth mentioning that the series is more light-hearted and fun then much else that is sci-fi/adventure these days. There were definitely times it took itself seriously (or mostly so), and it does have the usual mix of serialized and case of the week storytelling, but a lot of times that it focused more on being entertaining. |

Took a blind buy of it and Space 1999 season 1 (which I loved). Sadly my card got declined for Warehouse 13 but not Space 1999 despite both being bought at the same time, but I suspect this is linked to my bank merging with another company. Probably some pesky fraud alert nonsense. Wonder if the long awaited season 2 will ever come down to a reasonable price.
Was tempted to get the Nikita series, which is an amazing deal. Never seen it, and the series trailer on youtube looked decent, but other clips seemed to be more typical CW, lightweight fluff, so perhaps better suited to streaming on Netflix or Amazon if available there until I can get a better idea if it is worth it. |

Has it? Well, I figured it was worth getting. For less than $50 USD, and about...4.5(technically 5) seasons...I bought it.

Well, I am satisfied. I blind bought this, Eureka, Fringe...I feel like my sci-fi watching's going to be real interesting. Here I thought that the sets were out overseas for so long...heck, how long was Eureka out in Germany?

Please post when that Network sale is.
I still need to get a region free player, even though I have a # of region locked items already. I have the German Prisoner. Very curious to see how it holds up. Unsure on supplemental material. May have to investigate the UK one if crazy cheap price during Network sale if supplements are worth it. |

Fringe is really good...a lot more serious. Though apparently it took a turn for the worse later on. Eureka is well done as well. I enjoyed seeing that when it first aired, and I do not have much tolerance for sci-fi comedies that don't measure up, so that says something. I do have a friend who loves Warehouse 13 and compares it favorably to Eureka.

Man I am on the fence about this. I would hate to buy this and find out the menus are in a different language or that the US release will be a lot different. I would think it would be the exact same discs but without confirmation I have to look at this as a gamble.
I also wonder how the US version will be packed. Five separate seasons like the German release or the three cases like the UK release or something entirely different. Hmm... |

It came out in Germany first. Blu-rays of certain TV properties are more popular there. These things are released where they believe there is a market for them. Once they have been released in one market, it is easier to release in another market if they believe there is reason to do so.

Also the extras will more then likely be the same since it a universal title and they generally like to always keep everything the same in each region instead of changing stuff which is why they usually always region free to. On the case of the packaging no one will know until release probably. But considering the US version is releasing at $200 i rather pay $45 then a extra $155 just for a different packaging job if that is indeed the only different. |

^ I agree with you sir. If the only difference is the packaging for like 1/4 the price then that's a heck of a deal. I took the plunge and ordered me a copy. The packaging from the pictures I've seen looked fined. At least they were not cardboard sleeves or spindels. lol
Anyways thanks to everyone who has provided me with some feedback. I owned the DVD boxset but I am glad to upgrade to the Blu-Ray box set since this is one of my all-time favorite shows. It's got a very similar feel to The Librarians. |

I just ordered this, Suits Season 4, Luther complete seasons 1-4, and The Tudors complete series from Amazon.co.uk. I was going to order The Killing (U.S.) complete series but I'm waiting for that to drop a little further.

Luther is gonna be region-specific, btw. Warehouse 13 and Tudors aren't.
