ZOOLANDER

No. 2

The Magnum Edition

Prepare for the Dangerously Sexy Adventure on Digital HD May 3, 2016 and
on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack May 24

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Long time no Z. Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell reprise their iconic roles in the “ridiculously funny” (Mara Reinstein, Us Weekly) ZOOLANDER NO. 2: THE MAGNUM EDITION, which critics are calling “every bit as good as the original classic” (Gersh Kuntzman, New York Daily News). The highly anticipated sequel hits the catwalk on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and On Demand May 24, 2016 from Paramount Home Media Distribution. The film arrives fashionably early on Digital HD May 3.

Featuring Penélope Cruz, Kristen Wiig and a host of celebrity cameos including Justin Bieber and Billy Zane, the hilarious comedy tops the original with even more wild and outrageous situations. When a mystery assassin starts killing off the world’s most beautiful people, haute-shot Interpol agent Valentina Valencia (Cruz) learns the key to this deadly plot lies with Derek (Stiller) and Hansel (Wilson). Recruited for a top secret mission, they must return to the world of high fashion, reclaim their fame, and save the day. The only things standing in their way: the criminal mastermind Mugatu (Ferrell) and his evil fashion protégé (Wiig).

ZOOLANDER NO. 2: THE MAGNUM EDITION looks really, really ridiculously good-looking on Blu-ray Combo Pack and includes a Digital HD version of the film and behind-the-scenes featurettes. Go on location to Rome with Ben Stiller and the all-star cast as they discuss the legacy of Zoolander and reveal the secrets behind the sequel. Plus, discover the origins of the iconic character Derek Zoolander, and laugh out loud as Kristen Wiig’s Alexanya Atoz introduces her revolutionary new beauty product “Youth Milk.” And for a limited time only, get a bonus digital copy of the original Zoolander with the Blu-ray Combo Pack.

The DVD in the combo pack is presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs with English 5.1 Dolby Digital, French 5.1 Dolby Digital, Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital and English Audio Description and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The combo pack includes access to a Digital HD copy of the film as well as access to a Digital HD copy of the original Zoolander and the following:

Wal-Mart has an exclusive with a selfie stick with the movie. Wonder if Target or Best Buy will get an exclusive as well.

Target has "exclusive packaging", but it's not very specific as to what that means. I'm assuming a different slipcover since it doesn't specify Steelbook

The WM exclusive was recently cancelled.
Evidently there was a problem with the included selfie stick.

I did and it was awful. Every single joke was a callback to jokes on the first movie, they just couldn't come up with anything original for this one.

I think Target will specifically say if its a steelbook...to answer the question above of those that saw it....it's ok...good for nostalgia...it wasn't awful as that responder said and it was MUCH better IMO than Anchorman 2.

I'd say Zoolander 2 makes Anchorman 2 look like Anchorman 1. Worst movie I've seen in a long time.

Question for those who didn't like it -- I've watched the trailers and it looked like a fun (and stupid) action/comedy.

Is the trailer really that far off from the actual movie? or what is it that most arent liking?

I don't know why other people didn't like it, but I thought it was funny. However, it's even more ridiculous/stupid than the first one and not all the jokes are as consistently funny as Zoo1 (which is why I think a lot of people didn't like it). However, the jokes that do hit are hilarious and I still laughed aloud quite a bit when I saw this in theaters.

Like most movies, this is an acquired taste. If you watch it knowing it's not trying to be more than a dumb comedy I think you'll enjoy it.

it's because everyone's a critic these days and its the cool thing to hate on something...come on, all the cool kids are doing it.

If you've seen the first one, i recommend seeing the 2nd one, even for nostaligic purposes its pretty good.

So the weird thing is.. This was the only trailer I've seen up until now:

And I thought it looked good. Had some action parts, some comedy, looked entertaining and preordered it based on that. After seeing all the hate, I ended up checking out another trailer..

..And it looked totally different. Gave off a "bad stupid" vibe instead of an "entertaining/stupid movie" vibe the other one gave. Actually had me cancel the preorder (and check it out once the price goes down).

For those who have seen it.. which of these are a better representation of the movie?
