I'm surprised theres not a thread for this already…

Tom MacCarthy's oscar winning Spotlight is available for Pre-order.

When the Boston Globe's tenacious "Spotlight" team of reporters delves into allegations of abuse in the Catholic Church, their year-long investigation uncovers a decades-long cover-up at the highest levels of Boston's religious, legal, and government establishment, touching off a wave of revelations around the world.

Winner of the Oscar for best Original Screenplay as well as Best Picture. Spotlight is a old fashioned film about the power of investigative journalism.

No release date as of yet, but pre-orders are available on amazon.

I put a preorder in for this yesterday using Amazons Oscars discount code to knock 10% off. Loved this movie!

Got this last week from Amazon US. Great film, the comparisons to All the President's Men definitely warranted.

I was thinking about importing this one. Is it region free or do you have a region free player?

It's a Universal title, so region free.

Yes, region free. Nice embossed slipcover too.
Very short on extras.

Early artwork up at Amazon. They were clearly waiting until after the Oscars. And extras are identical to NA release according to BBFC.

That's some nice artwork, slightly more arty than the american release, hopefully the UK edition comes with a slip.

Saw it in the theatre yesterday and still feel uneasy by the film. I'm glad at how it highlights the investigative journalism and the systematic cover up by the church of child abuse. I wish they could make a movie for every country but I'm glad at least it won the oscar for best picture so it will get a lot more exposure than would have been the case otherwise.
