Thanks so much! Judging from that review, it's certainly an improvement. I guess most of Brass's films have a generally soft appearance anyway. Regardless, I will definitely be picking this up!

I stand corrected then! Haven't seen many of Brass's films. That said, "Paprika" does have that early '90s look.

I just watched my copy. A fine film. Initially I was disappointed at how soft the detail was, but then I compared it to Frivolous Lola (same director but different film/different releasing company) and they both looked similarly fuzzy.

Yeah, detail does look rather soft. Although it doesn't look nearly as bad as I was expecting. I was worried after seeing the PQ on the Cult Epics release of "The Voyeur". But thankfully their "Paprika" blu has a far more natural, filmic look.

I only became interested in this movie because of that gif thats out there with ol bearded man ripping off her wet wine spilled shirt in front of maybe his wife. and she just about faints. finally found out what movie that went to and even though it was Region 2 on dvd stuck it up there. Now I see this and sure enough thats ordered without thought Almost reminds me of Devil in the Flesh (which is also Italian. ) love how Amazon had to censor it. oh come on. 1 it's sheer 2. is very bad sheer. can't see much

Just pulled the trigger on Paprika because of the fantastic price. Big fan of these movies.

I have been watching them as they have been coming out on bluray. So far the only one I don't have is The Voyeur. The only other movie of his I have seen is Miranda that is out on DVD. I hope that comes out on bluray.

I remember reading on here that his first movie was coming out on Blu-ray. I guess that never happened whatever title it was to be.

So far my rank is 1. All Ladies Do it (a masterpiece and one of the most beautiful women in the bluray list) 2. Monamour 3. The Key 4. Salon Kitty 5. Caligula (wish this one had a cut with alternate Tinto Brass alternate version with lesbian scene re-inserted since Brass claims to have directed that...the Arrow and Imperial version are essential to get a better full picture) 6. Black Angel (very good story and like a follow-up historically to the Key), 7 Cheeky! (Arrow version superior to Cult Epic version for HD Italian track) 8. Frivolous Lola (good arrow release with alternate Italian credits!) 9. Private (love first blonde, the rest...ehhh) 10. Kick the Cock (Pretty much throwaway light stuff).

Love the themes to these movies. Any female fans of these.
